The Multimedia Procedure Manual (MPM) is a project designed to revolutionize the way medical students, interns, and resident physicians learn commonly performed medical procedures. By utilizing a combination of fully referenced, literature-based discussions and a variety of media formats (such as digital video, computer animation, and photographs and illustrations), the MPM will provide physicians-in-training with detailed information and a standardized curriculum on the proper techniques, indications, contraindications, and complications of the procedures covered.
